It’s New York City, just before Christmas. Jonathan Tragger (John Cusack) meets a stunningly beautiful girl Sara Thomas (Kate Beckinsale) by chance in the Christmas eve on its way to the counter to buy the black gloves. They decide to go to the cafeteria and Jonathan can feel inside that he is in love with Sara.
Jonathan asks for her name and phone number. But Sara talks about Serendipity and tells that if they are destined to meet again they will do in future. Sara decides to write her telephone number in a book, and Jonathan telephone no. on a five dollars bill. She gives that 5 dollar to a newspaperman and she tells Jonathan that she would sell the book in a New York second hand(used) books store. She again talks about destiny (Serendipity) and tells if destiny wants them two together, he will find that book and she will get that 5 dollar……
My Short Review:
Serendipity (2001) is definitely one of my all time favorite movie, very romantic and sweet. Its brilliant, charming and unforgettable romantic movie. Movie is very enjoyable and worth watching. Both Kate Beckinsale & John Cusack fitted perfectly for this enchanting movie. Overall must see movie with lovely background musics.
